An evening of rare and often never-before-seen jazz footage and musical rarites hosted by noted jazz archivist Mark Cantor. As an added bonus, after Mark Cantor’s presentation, we are pleased to present the award-winning jazz documentary, CHOPS, about the quest of a Florida high school band to prove they can swing as hard as any band in the country—a quest that puts them on stage in front of a packed house at New York’s Jazz at Lincoln Center and its Artistic Director, Wynton Marsalis.
